OBSOLETE MASS FLOW CONTROLLER SUPPORT

As an independent MFC service provider, Coastal Instruments recognizes the tremendous value of supporting legacy or obsolescent products. While MFC manufacturers obsolete these devices, large equipment makers and end-users must deal with the nightmare of sourcing new or replacement devices. This task includes expensive testing and rigorous evaluations, not to mention overwhelming fab expenses due to machine-down time, wafer scrap, and system recertification. The time and expense of replacement devices can be devastating. That is where we come in.

As technology and economics dictate design obsolescence, we anticipate and build inventory to support these products for years into the future. Currently we anticipate Celerity and HoribaStec to begin obsolescence of very popular devices that are still in current demand, so we have intentionally begun to increase our inventory to support these legacy products.

This means we will support these devices with the intention of assisting our customers to avoid or at least delay the arduous task and expense of designing in a replacement device or even considering a complete product redesign. If you need to replace an MFC with an exact model, or if you need MFC service, we offer both solutions.
